Who did the Lord call YOU to be? Stop imitating the next person. The Lord didn't create us all to be the same. How can we acknowledge God as the creator of Heaven and Earth but act as if His creativity went out the window when it came time to make us?
I wonder how it makes Him feel, to know all the time and detail it took to make us in His image, yet we strive to look the same. Be the same.
He was so intentional with our creation that even the patterns on our fingertips are different.
However, if a person is called to a different path than us, we talk about them. If a person doesn't look like us, we talk about them. As if we all aren't made in His image, as if He doesn't have a plan for all of us. Why do we do that to each other? Why do we allow it to be done?
I believe it all stems from a lack of knowledge of who God is. Once we truly accept him in our hearts as Creator, Father, Son, and Savior then it'll be easy to accept who we are in Him and who he called us to be.
So I ask, who is God to you? Think about it. Meditate on it. Now, ask yourself why would you want to be anything other than who He wants you to be? Why would you want to follow any plan other than the one He has for you?
We've allowed the world to change us. Some of us are conforming to the world and its standard, and we wonder why we're in so much pain; it's because the box we're trying to fit in doesn't belong to us.
The Lord has a purpose for your life. The Lord has a calling on your life. Will you answer?
I'll be honest for years I hit decline. I had plans for my life and expectations that needed to be met. The only problem was; they were my plans and other people's expectations. The Lord wasn't involved and to say the least that didn't go well for me (lol).
I tried hard to be something I wasn't. I would dress a certain way, act a certain way just to be accepted. I wasted years of my life trying to fit into a mold that wasn't designed for me.
I'm different than most around me, but that's ok. I'm learning to love it, and you should too.
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. The Lord made you the way you are for a reason, and whatever you're calling is it is tailor-made to fit you and your experiences. Don't fall into the trap of comparing your walk with someone else. And don't let the enemy lie to you and tell you it's too late to be who the Lord called you to.
We serve the author of time. It's not too late!
In a recent watched sermon titled Fine Tune Your Hearing, evangelist Christine Caine stated, "Let's take off the expectations that we put on ourselves to impress everyone else and let's do what God has called us to do."
How great would that be?
To live free in the Lord and be who He called us to be. To no longer walk to the beat of the drum created by man but by God.
I encourage you friend to rise up against the schemes of Satan and stop allowing your standards and the world's standards to keep you from walking in your purpose. I encourage you to ask our Savior to transform your heart, renew your mind, and make you into the woman He has called you to be.

Love this!
Beautifully written. I’ve been pondering those same thoughts when I’m doing anything. I realized some of the things I was doing was to be like everyone else. Now, I’m happy with how beautifully has God created me and what he created me to do. Sometimes I feel undeserving for just finding this out but I know God knew who I was then and how I would turn out now.
