What is the Lord teaching you about confidence in Him?
It's important and mandatory to a successful Christian walk. It's exciting, overwhelming, and fulfilling all in one.
I haven't had much confidence in Him in the past but things are definitely
changing. The confidence I would normally put in myself I now try to put in Him.

Frankly it's quite liberating! No longer do I have to worry about what's next, or how this bill will get paid, or how I'll forgive that person. I just take it all to Him.
And guess what? He prefers it that way!

He wants all of me. The good, the bad, the pretty, and the ugly. He wants it all! And I'm ok with that...now! I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hard and it didn't take some work. Sometimes being broken and lost and accepting the unfailing love from a God so good and perfect can be challenging.
I couldn't understand why He wanted me (the way I was). Or why He chose me, but none of that matters. He does want me and He did choose me. (John 15:16 NLT "You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name.")
And guess what else? He wants you too! Although I'm just talking about my relationship with Him right now the reality is Jesus Christ died for you too, friend!
He died so that your sins could be forgiven and you could have eternal life through Him.
We often put our confidence in money, our own abilities and talents, or our accomplishments and possessions.
Why? If we truly stop and think about it, why would we put our confidence in things so fleeting?
Things that change face, lose their value, or disappear. Or better yet, why would we put our confidence in things that can't get us into heaven?
Confidence in Jesus is more than a head nod at His existence. It's trusting in His name and in His power. It's believing with everything in you that He is the Son of God and His plans for you are good. It's trusting in His sovereignty and in His peace.
Today I dare you, take your confidence out of the things of this world and put it in Jesus. I promise you won't be disappointed!
